Welfare Indicators of Biak Numfor Regency 2024

Improving the welfare of the people is a key objective of government development efforts. To achieve the desired level of welfare, a series of continuous, comprehensive, targeted, and integrated programs must be implemented. Therefore, it is essential to evaluate and plan based on a set of indicators that reflect the progress of people’s welfare, assessed from the perspective of changes over time, regional diversity, and gender equality. The publication of Welfare Indicators is intended to present these relevant indicators. This publication is the second annual release by the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Biak Numfor Regency, providing insights into the progress of the welfare level of the population in Biak Numfor Regency over time and through comparisons. The indicators presented in this publication illustrate various aspects of welfare based on available and measurable data. The data used is sourced from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS), derived from the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), and the Indonesian Population Projection 2010–2035.
